So you’ve most likely found this page as you’re sweating when smoking weed, that is to say abnormal sweating after the use of cannabis. This has caused a large amount of interest in my site from another article about smoking and sweating in general. So, I thought I’d create a guide to help those in need of a helping hand in a time that could be disconcerting. Seemed pretty prudent. Take into mind that this guide is intended for those that are concerned with sweating and marijuana use, in particular if this is irregular. If you’re smoking tobacco or other herbs and experiencing sweating then there’s another article that will be more suitable for you.
This is not a place of judgment either, I probably don’t need to say this, but for some it’s important. I am an intermittent user of cannabis myself so I have experienced what you or whoever you’re reading this for has.

Antiperspirants offer sweat control through a variety of ingredients. Anyone, who wishes to reduce their sweating while still getting all the benefits of a traditional deodorant, should consider these products. One’s level of personal hygiene depends on a combination of personal hygiene, health, and genetics. Nonetheless, using a product like the Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant helps you to sweat less and keep your personal hygiene at a high level.
Mitchum’s sweat and odor control provides 48-hour protection against sweating and bad odor. Body odor gives off when the acidic sweat breaks down the bacteria on the skin. There are different kind of bacteria living on the skin and although not all of them are bad for you, some are. Especially when sweat breaks them down. Contrary to popular belief, sweat itself is not, or barely detectable by the human nose. If you can reduce or eliminate sweating in certain areas, there will be no bad body odor.
One of its clear benefits is its positive impact on sunburn. The outermost layer of the skin is called epithelial, and it acts as a protective cover for the deeper layers of the skin. The aloe can replenish that outer layer, making it healthier. In addition to this, the plant essence acts as a natural moisturizer, without making it greasy or inducing any additional sweating. The third positive property of aloe is its advantageous impact on acne.
There are two hormones in the plant material, Auxin and Gibberellins. These two help to promote wound healing, and therefore treat acne in the stages where needed the most. Although extremely rare, acne can get infected, to the point where they require surgical intervention. You can develop acne anywhere on your skin, including your armpits, but the Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant can help you counter the effects.
In addition to these properties, aloe is an excellent, nutrient-rich substance that promotes good health and has anti-inflammatory properties. It contains 75 different nutrients that our body can use, making it one of the best basic ingredients of cosmetic products, including deodorants.
Some antiperspirants leave white marks on your clothing, and it is one of the more annoying features of deodorants. The Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant contains ingredients that do not stain your clothes.
Through testing, dermatologists try to determine the adverse effects of substances on the skin. It is crucial to not allow any products to enter the market that hasn’t undergone thorough dermatological testing, and the Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant passes that test with excellence.
Alcohol is not good for the human body – certainly not from a health point of view -, and it is not good for the skin either. It dehydrates it in two ways. Firstly by lowering the natural levels of your anti-diuretic hormone. Secondly, if you are drinking too much and end up vomiting, you deplete your body’s fluid storages and dehydrate it even further.
The Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant provides powerful sweat and odor control. By stopping sweating it does not allow the bacteria to be broken down, which would result in bad odor. The deodorant has a 48-hour effect, similarly to the company’s previous products, but the old formula, although highly effective, wasn’t as good as the new one. The aloe was a huge step in the right direction, providing numerous skin benefits.
Aloe nourishes the skin by supporting its outermost layer, in addition to helping it to deal with acne. It has anti-inflammatory and wound-healing qualities, both of which come in handy for a product that you use on your skin. In addition, aloe is a natural moisturizer and it hydrates the skin without making it greasy. Another positive effect of aloe is its nutrient-rich nature that allows it to nourish the skin.
The Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant minimizes white stains as well and features a dermatologically tested formula that rules out any major adverse reactions in healthy people. The formula was reworked to make the deodorant even more efficient, and thanks to the alcohol-free profile, it offers virtually no downsides. Once you put it on, you can expect an odorless existence for up to 48 hours.
The Degree Men Clinical Antiperspirant deodorant is a prescription-strength antiperspirant deodorant. It provided 24-hour protection for the skin while reducing underarm wetness. It has certain ingredients that act as a moisturizer, and protect the skin against irritation. It features a technology called MOTIONSENSE, which supposedly keeps you fresh even while you move. It does this with the help of clever microcapsules that burst when there is friction, exposing the skin to a new wave of freshness.
The Mitchum Anti-Perspirant wins this comparison. There are two main reasons why we came to this conclusion, the 48-hour window, and the aloe vera as a major ingredient. 48-hour is very good for an anti-perspirant deodorant, and even though this could vary depending on personal factors such as activity level or weather, it is still a strong advantage of the product.
Even if it is 36, or even 28 hours for you, it is still more effective than the Degree Men Clinical that offers 24-hour efficiency. The aloe vera was the second deciding factor, and it is more than a nice extra. This substance has various proven benefits to the skin, and it tips the scale in favor of the Mitchum Anti-perspirant & Deodorant.
Sweat is an important bodily function because it cools your body down when it is at risk of overheating. This is vital during exercise or when you eat hot foods, as too much heat can cause all sorts of issues.
Even so, sweating from your armpits is not the most pleasant experience. Beyond the odor it creates, armpit sweat can leave unsightly patches on your clothing. This is a nightmare in social situations, and can even lead to some people labelling you as unhygienic.
That means you need to know how to stop sweating from your armpits. Happily, there are several solutions that will help you keep your armpit sweat at bay.
Antiperspirants will often be your first port of call when you want to figure out how to stop sweating from your armpits. Available in many stores, antiperspirants create a protective barrier that prevents sweat from escaping in the areas of application. They also tend to have attractive scents, which you can use to mask the smell that sweat sometimes causes. Ideally, you should look for an antiperspirant that contains a minimum aluminum chloride volume of 12%.
Unfortunately, regular antiperspirants may not help everybody who wants to know how to stop sweating from your armpits. You also may not like the chalky residue that some over-the-counter antiperspirants leave on their clothing. That’s where prescription antiperspirants can help. Doctors may prescribe these if you sweat excessively due to a condition called hyperhidrosis. You usually find that prescription antiperspirants contain more aluminum chloride than regular products.
You may have to think deeper than antiperspirants when trying to figure out how to stop sweating from your armpits. Irritation of delicate skin can sometimes lead to reactions that cause sweating. In fact, this irritation may get worse when you apply an antiperspirant. Think about when you shave your armpits. Your armpit skin is quite soft and will feel tender for a day or two after shaving. Applying antiperspirants or other cosmetics during this period, can sometimes trigger a reaction that leads to sweating.
You should also avoid spraying antiperspirants onto your skin straight after taking a hot shower. The water will cause your pores to open up, which can lead to an adverse reaction if you spray antiperspirant onto them. Instead, wait until you have cooled down before applying the antiperspirant.
As a final routine tip, consider applying your antiperspirant before you go to bed. You sweat less during the night, which gives the antiperspirant the chance to bed into your skin. Follow this up with a secondary application the next morning, and you should find your antiperspirant stops you sweating for the rest of the day.
As mentioned, sweating is your body’s way of cooling itself down. That means there’s no use trying to figure out how to stop sweating from your armpits if you wear sweaters or coats during the summer. Your body is going to sweat because you’re causing it to overheat with your clothing choices.
As a consequence, you need to think carefully about the clothes you’re wearing before you head outside. Clothing that exposes the armpit during hot days allows air to circulate in the region. This keeps your armpits cool, so your body doesn’t need to excrete sweat to do the job for you. It also helps to wear breathable materials, such as cotton, if you want to cut down on sweating.
Of course, there are some occasions where you can’t stop your armpits from sweating. If that’s the case, try to conceal the sweat, rather than stop it. Dark colored clothing will not show sweat as readily as bright clothing.
Sometimes, you need to look beyond heat when trying to work out how to stop sweating from your armpits. Situations that make you anxious or emotional can make you sweat just as much as a hot day or exercise. It’s very inconvenient, especially if you walk into an important meeting with visible sweat patches.
You’ve probably experienced this at some point in your life. Perhaps you felt nervous before giving a presentation and found yourself asking how to stop sweating from your armpits. Or, you were on a date with somebody you really liked and found yourself sweating without any real explanation.
The body’s “fight or flight” mode which it enters when you’re under stress isn’t called for in such situations. That means you will need to find ways of controlling your anxiety to prevent this type of sweating. Taking a few deep breaths will calm you down, as will thinking positively before any situation that may make you nervous.
There are several external triggers that can induce sweating from the armpits. Exercise is the most obvious, as this process heats your body up. Naturally, your body responds by releasing sweat. But you should expect this whenever you work out.
What’s more irritating are sweat triggers that aren’t accompanied by the benefits of exercise. Hot food is the most common. Again, this comes down to heating your body up. Eating hot food raises your body’s core temperature, which makes you sweat.
Caffeine has a different effect on your body but often leads to the same results. Your morning coffee or energy drink will stimulate your central nervous system, which could lead to armpit sweat. That means you need to think about what you put into your body when asking how to stop sweating from your armpits.
The above solutions may not help you if you suffer from hyperhidrosis. Even using a prescription strength antiperspirant only blocks the sweat, rather than addressing the root cause.
That’s where the holistic Sweat Miracle system could help you. A five-step program, Sweat Miracle alleviates excessive sweating within two days. As you follow the steps, the system will identify the root cause of your hyperhidrosis within 60 days, answering the question of how to stop sweating from your armpits in the process.
There are several ways to answer the question of how to stop sweating from your armpits. Using antiperspirants is the most obvious, but there are several routine changes that you can make to prevent excess sweating.
Knowing when to apply antiperspirants helps, as does wearing the right clothing for whatever situations you may find yourself in. Beyond that, try to avoid the external stimuli that can cause sweating, such as emotionally charged situations or eating hot food. And, remember, if you can’t stop armpit sweat, you can always conceal it with some carefully chosen clothing.
If none of that works for you, the Sweat Miracle system will help you combat excessive sweat without the need for surgery.
With so many products available, it’s difficult to pick the right antiperspirant. You have to consider much more than the smell. A good antiperspirant will block sweat without leaving white residue all over your clothes. Beyond that, it shouldn’t cause any skin irritation that could trigger the sweat glands or cause your skin to become blotchy.
Not every antiperspirant fits the bill. In fact, many may cause harm because the manufacturers have not taken delicate skin into account. That means you need to do some research before buying an antiperspirant. In this review, we will take a closer look at Dove’s Dove Dry Spray Clear Tone Skin Renew to let you know if it is right for you.
Dove has become a household name in cosmetics because of its focus on creating great products that protect your skin. This antiperspirant is no different, as it comes with several features that make it a pleasure to use.
You receive a 3.8-ounce can of antiperspirant, which should last for several weeks as long as you apply it correctly. Dove recommends holding the can 6 inches away from your body and applying two short sprays to enjoy the maximum effect.
Once applied, the antiperspirant stays effective for 48 hours. Of course, excessive sweating may lessen these effects, but you should find the spray works well if you only conduct regular activities.
It also contains a 20.2% aluminum chlorohydrate volume, which makes it one of the most effective antiperspirants around.
Clear Tone Skin Renew stands out from many discount products because it driesthe moment you apply it to your skin. This means you don’t have to wait to put your clothes on after using it. Better yet, it doesn’t leave any white marks.
Dove hasn’t used any water in this antiperspirant, so you don’t get that sticky wet feeling that other antiperspirants sometimes leave behind.
Dove’s range of moisturizers have rightly gained a reputation for their quality. That’s why the company has used its one-quarter moisturizers to form the base of this antiperspirant’s skin protection formula.
This is particularly important for people who like to apply their antiperspirants after shaving. Dove’s moisturizer will keep you skin feeling soft and smooth, plus it reduces the irritation that shaving causes. You’ll benefit from everything that a good antiperspirant has to offer, without having to worry about the issues that applying antiperspirants to tender skin can cause.
Dove boosts this effect with a 0% ethanol formula. The lack of alcohol in the antiperspirant reduces irritation further, whilst also ensuring you feel no twinges of pain when you use it directly on shaven skin.
A lot of antiperspirants can change the tone of your skin, especially if they cause irritation. Unsightly red marks may make you shy away fromclothing that puts your skin on display.
Dove’s antiperspirant doesn’t just save your skin from irritation, but it can also help to return it to its previous tone. This makes it ideal if you’ve found your current antiperspirant doesn’t do the job, or if you have recently used another cosmetic that your skin doesn’t agree with.
It all comes down to Dove’s moisturizing formula, which millions have used protect their skin.
Dove has conducted a battery of toxicology and safety tests on the ingredients it uses in this spray. That makes them safe to use for most people, barring those who may have allergic reactions to the ingredients.
Even so, you need to consider safety when you apply the antiperspirant. Make sure you’re in a ventilated area whenever you use it. You should also avoid spraying for too long.
Clear Tone Skin Renew features a pleasant blend of natural fragrances that will leave you feeling fresh. You’ll spot notes of lilac and rose, alongside vanilla musk and violet.
This combination creates a breezy floral fragrance that you’ll enjoy wearing for the entire day.
Dove’s Clear Tone Skin Renew offers a subtle fragrance that won’t overpower you or anybody else. But its antiperspirant qualities make it stand out. The high volume of aluminum chlorohydrate offers a similar level of protection to some prescription antiperspirants.
Beyond that, you benefit from decades of Dove’s cosmetics experience. The company has used its one-quarter moisturizer formula to ensure Clear Tone Skin Renew doesn’t irritate your skin. The spray also contains no alcohol or water, so it shouldn’t leave wet patches.
Instead of comparing Clear Tone Skin Renew against another antiperspirant, let’s look at how it stacks up against a new holistic system designed to combat excessive sweating. Sweat Miracle gives you five steps to follow that will clear up your sweat issues in the space of two months.
In truth, these are two very different products. Clear Tone Skin Renew blocks sweat and creates a nice fragrance to mask odors. Sweat Miracle achieves similar sweat blocking effects within 48 hours, but it goes deeper than that. After two months of using the system, you should find excessive sweat issues clear up. That makes it an effective long-term solution to the problem.
You won’t experience any of the irritation that alcohol-based sprays can cause. Dove’s one-quarter moisturizer really comes to the fore here, which makes the spray a pleasure to use.
The aroma is nice, without being overpowering. The scent is not too strong, so it may not be the best option for people who need a strong deodorant to mask odors.
The deodorant does have a habit of leaving white marks if overused, though we found that sticking to Dove’s recommendation of two sprays per application worked. Having said that, 48 hours feels a tad ambitious when figuring out how long the spray is effective for. Active people may find they need to apply this antiperspirant a couple of times a day to get the most out of it.
It would be nice if this antiperspirant worked as an all-body spray, but it still makes for a great choice for anybody who experiences excessive armpit sweat.
Sweat plays an important part in the health of the human body. It helps to keep your body cool during times when heat could cause issues. You secrete sweat through your eccrine glands, with the sweat then sitting on your body until the body’s heat causes it to evaporate. Apart from water, sweat contains potassium, sodium, and chloride. The evaporation process is what causes your body to cool, as each gram of sweat that evaporates takes 0.58 calories with it.
That’s the natural process, but some people find they sweat too much. Excessive sweating does little to cool the body, and can even lead to dehydration. Unfortunately, there are many people who sweat excessively without knowing the cause.
Many point to genetics as the reason behind excessive sweating. They ask “is excessive sweating genetic?” but may struggle to come up with a solid answer. The truth depends on the person.
Genes don’t always play a part in excessive sweating. Various medical conditions can also lead to the problem. These include the following:
There are several others. In some cases, the condition itself is genetic, which can make excessive sweating genetic by proxy. Type 1 Diabetes is an example of this, as the condition is hereditary and can cause excessive sweating. But most of these conditions feature sweating as a symptom, rather than the main issue.
Despite this, there is a condition that causes excessive sweating on its own.
When asking the question “is excessive sweating genetic?” you need to consider hyperhidrosis. This is a condition that causes you to sweat profusely without any associated disease or virus.
Hyperhidrosis differs from the sweating you may experience with other conditions because it tends to only affect your hands and face. More importantly, 40% of people who have the condition also have a family member who has suffered from it before. That means you can answer the question “is excessive sweating genetic?” with a “yes” in some cases, and a “no” in others.
Having a family member who has hyperhidrosis does not guarantee that you will suffer from the condition yourself. Conversely, having no family history of hyperhidrosis does not mean that you are immune to the condition. It can develop in anybody. If this happens to you, your body will then carry the gene and potentially pass the condition onto other family members.
The worst thing about hyperhidrosis is that you have very few options available to you, which means it usually lasts for the lifetime of the patient. You can opt for surgery to remove some of your sweat glands, but this may not have long-lasting effects.
Some have reported that the condition disappears over time, but there is no medical reason for this. Happily, the condition should have no effect on your lifespan. As long as you drink plenty of water, you won’t struggle with the dehydration that excessive sweating can cause.
But, there is a solution that doesn’t require you to have surgery. The Sweat Miracle system is a holistic solution that contains five steps. Follow them all and you should see the effects after 48 hours, with the system then addressing the root cause of the condition over the next two months.
So, you can sometimes answer the question “is excessive sweating genetic?” with a “yes” if you have hyperhidrosis. But what about those people who do not have the condition and still sweat profusely. For them, the question is not “is excessive sweating genetic?” but rather “what can I do to stop sweating so much?”
There are several external factors that could cause you to sweat excessively, beyond the medical conditions mentioned earlier.
A lot of athletes find themselves asking “is excessive sweating genetic?” when they finish their workouts coated in sweat. It can certainly seem like a medical condition at the time, but excessive sweating after a workout often indicates that you have pushed your body too far.
Your body will sweat naturally during exercise because you raise your body heat. This is also how you will burn calories during a workout. Excessive sweating is a sign that you need to slow down and rest because your body is struggling to cool itself down. You can mitigate the effects somewhat if you exercise in a cool place.
If you’ve ever experienced sweaty palms before a big job interview, you know what emotional sweating feels like. Your body may release sweat from the hands and feet during emotionally stressful situations. This can seem like excessive sweating because there aren’t any other traditional sweating triggers to account for the sensation.
A good anti-perspirant will often prevent this type of sweating. But those who experience it often can undergo a treatment called iontophoresis to dull its effects.
Remember earlier when we spoke about how sweating is your body’s way of cooling itself down. That’s what you need to remember whenever you eat hot or spicy food. Rather than asking yourself “is excessive sweating genetic?” you should instead consider how wise it is to put really hot foods into your body.
Alcohol can increase the effects of hot food on your body, as it widens the blood vessels and stimulates your sweat glands. If excessive sweating only occurs when you’re eating hot food, you don’t need to worry about the condition being genetic.
So is excessive sweating genetic? It depends entirely on the person. Those who have hyperhidrosis may find that the condition has something to do with a gene passed down from a parent or older family member. But this is only the case 40% of the time.
In most cases, excessive sweating is not genetic. The issue may stem from another medical condition, making it a symptom, rather than a condition. More often than not, excessive sweating occurs due to some outside stimulus.
Too much exercise and eating very hot foods both force your body to find ways to cool down. If you pass a certain threshold with either, your body will secrete more sweat than needed. Again, this isn’t a medical condition, but rather an issue that an external stimulus has caused.
Even so, you should speak to a doctor if you sweat excessively, especially if you can’t trace the cause to an external cause.
Sweaty feet aren’t fun. They are an all year problem and are normally attributed for smelly feet. Before we go any further we need to know that men are more likely to have sweaty feet than women. Excessive sweating of the feet is normally considered to be a condition.
The name given to this condition is hyperhidrosis. People with this condition normally also find themselves having excessive sweaty palms as well. Sweaty feet can definitely be a problem and can lead to or exacerbate problems such as athlete’s foot and many other skin conditions.
With all that said, sweating is natural and it’s a natural way for our body to cool off. It’s only when it gets excessive that it becomes a problem. On that note, let’s see why our feet sweat so much?
As said earlier, sweating is normal, it’s only an issue when it gets excessive. There are many reasons as to why our feet sweat a lot. One of them is genetics. You see sweaty foot is a hereditary problem. If either one of your mom or dad’s has it, then there is a chance that you will have it as well. In that case, it can be harder to get rid of.
In this case, the focus is maintenance and prevention rather than anything else. With that said, you can know whether your case is hereditary based on what causes your feet to get sweaty. If your feet just excessively sweat without any form of physical exertion (exercise) or warm temperatures, then it is most likely hereditary.
Toxicity levels could also lead to sweaty feet. Consuming too much alcohol and foods in high saturated fats could have adverse health effects, sweaty feet being one of them. This is more so the case for those that do not exercise at all. Some other causes of sweaty feet are fever/illness/infection, fabrics or dye in socks and nervousness.
The fabrics (such as nylon or 100% cotton socks) sometimes act like a sponge which sucks the moisture in. This leaves your feet sweaty all the time and thus your feet stay wet at all times. Another important reason for sweaty feet is hormonal changes. This does not affect many as teens and pregnant women are the ones that normally have a huge hormonal change. These changes could make one sweat more and thus have sweaty feet.
Of course, we’re talking about the condition, hyperhidrosis in this scenario. The most common and obvious symptom is off your feet sweat excessively (as the name implies). You can tell that you have sweaty feet if you experience symptoms such as smelly feet, an increase in skin problems, itchy feet, toenail fungus, athlete’s foot and clamminess. Smelly feet are normally as a result of sweaty feet. If your feet stink too often, then there is a likely chance that you have this condition.
The way to treat sweaty feet can be classified as prevention measures as well in some way. The best way to deal with it would be to have a change in footwear, both shoes, and socks. There might also be a need for the use of over the counter, hygiene products such as foot powders and the like.
If you’re suffering from anxiety caused by your sweaty feet, then a podiatrist is well placed to help you. They’d normally recommend the same thing recommended above, bar severe cases. In such cases, topical medications can be administered to help treat the problem. In addition, the use of Botox could be employed.
Botox works by cutting the signals sent to your sweat glands from your nerves. This reduces the amount of sweat leaving you with dry feet. As the adage goes, prevention is better than cure, so let us have a look at some of the prevention methods that can be employed.
There are some preventions measures that you could take to help alleviate/reduce your problem of sweaty feet. Let’s have a look at some of them:
One of the reasons for sweaty feet is wearing shoes that constrict your feet and thus trap the moisture making your feet sweat more. The best type of shoes are those that allow your feet to breathe. Shoes made of rubber should also be avoided as well.
Sweaty feet are wet feet, there is no doubt about that. As we have ascertained, wet feet aren’t good for you. To avoid sweaty feet, you should dry your feet anytime they get wet. This could be after a shower or a really long day. Dry your feet and ensure that they are actually dry. You could also add an antiperspirant for good measure.
Socks with nylon or entirely cotton fabric aren’t good for people with sweaty feet. This is because they tend to trap the moisture, thus making your feet wet and sweaty at all time (while wearing them). If you have sweaty feet, we advise that you use synthetic socks instead. This is because they allow your feet to breathe more and don’t trap moisture.
A foot spray or powder isn’t necessarily a bad idea especially if you have the other skin condition that come as a result of sweaty feet. Over the counter products can help keep your feet dry whilst making your skin better by eliminating/reducing the skin conditions that plague it.
Hygiene is always key in solving problems regarding sweat. Consider improving your foot hygiene. You can do this by washing your feet more often, washing your shoes daily/more often and changing your socks over the course of the day. You can also consider rotating the shoes you wear over the course of the week. Don’t underestimate the power of hygiene in helping alleviate this problem.
How often do you find yourself uncomfortable removing your shoes in the presence of those around you, or if you have to remove them, you keep your shoes in a distant corner of the garage where no one can find them? These are common challenges that people have every other day because of smelly feet.
How many people suffer from this? Millions, to be precise. There are a lot of people who have suffered from smelly feet for so long, some of them get used to the discomfort. However, you should not. You should never give up on finding a solution to such a problem.
Smelly feet do not just affect those around you, but it also affects your confidence. You are unable to interact freely with people around you because you are worried they might not like what your feet smell like.
You might also feel uncomfortable hanging around people because should there be any light foul smell, you will be worried everyone might cast their gaze your way. These are things you should not worry about anymore, not when you have Dr. Scholls Odor X with Sweatmax Spray Powder.
Virtually, anyone who wants to put the smelly feet problem behind them is in a good position to benefit from using this product. However, it is primarily made for those who engage in rigorous activities like marathon runners or any other activity that you might engage in that sees you sweat profusely during or after the activity.
Others who will find the Dr. Scholls Odor X With Sweatmax Spray Powder being useful include snowboarders, cowboys, anyone who loves to put on boots, or generally any footwear that you have which leaves your feet sweaty and/or smelly.
Simply put, this product deodorizes your shoes while at the same time killing the germs that reside therein. Because of its fast acting action against sweaty feet, the spray powder dries off the sweat, thereby minimizing the risk of smelly feet from sweating after any activity.
You do not just spray the powder and forget about it. This powder does more than keeping the bad smell away, it keeps the bad smell away all through the day. This is the kind of effectiveness that most people strive to enjoy when using these products. It will work well for you and bring back your confidence, going about your business without any challenges.
This product does not just keep the bad odor away, but it also keeps your feet dry. One of the main reasons why you have smelly feet is because your feet sweat during and after any activity that you engage in throughout the day.
Since this sweat cannot dry away on its own, the moist state makes it easier for bacteria to thrive, and this is where the smell comes from. This product tackles your smelly feet problem from the root cause, keeping your feet dry and preventing the formation of bacteria.
Sweat absorption is another important point of consideration in case you are looking for a good product that will help you in keeping bad odor away. When sprayed on your feet and inside the shoes, the powder will absorb sweat, keeping your feet dry all day.
Will this product work for you? Yes, it will. However, you must follow instructions accordingly if you are to get the best results from it. Rule number one of using such products is usually to clean your feet properly and dry them well.
A lot of people struggle with bad smelling feet because they do not dry their feet well, especially the space between the toes. When the dampness continues in here for so long, bacteria thrive, and before long your feet will be stinking to high heavens.
In case you do not have the time to apply cream on your feet regularly, spray will work best for you. The reason for this is because some of the sprays have an effect that lasts for a long time, so even if you forget to spray it in the morning, the effect from the previous application might still keep you safe.
The mode of operation for these two products is the same. They are all fast acting foot powders that are designed to keep the bad smell away from your feet. In case you have been struggling with this over the past, perhaps it is time for you to eventually forget about such problems.
This product is designed with a special ingredient that cools your feet in order to keep them refreshed and comfortable. Nothing beats that feeling. For someone who has struggled with foot odor for so long, getting that refreshing experience really means so much, and keeps you at ease too.
One of the reasons why this is considered one of the top products in the industry is because it has the approval of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Getting a thumbs up from such a respectable body means a lot, and you can proceed to use it without any worries at all.
In case you have smelly feet you will have probably read about a lot of products, all which promise to get rid of your problem almost instantly.
Do you need all of the products that you read about? Not really, that would be going into unnecessary overdrive. However, what you need to do is to find yourself a product that has a good rate of success.
This will go a long way in keeping your feet refreshed for a very long time, and helping you live your life feeling more comfortable than ever. Not all the products might be effective for you, but when used effectively, you should get good results.
We all know what sweat is, and when we hear the word, we immediately get a negative feeling about it. Sadly sweat has a bad reputation. People are often disgusted when it appears or is visible on other people’s clothes or bodies. You may also be blaming sweat for staining your white or light colored clothes!
But have you ever wondered why do we sweat? Actually, the negative feelings we all have towards sweat is misguided as in reality, we need sweat to keep healthy. Whenever your body temperature rises for any reason at all, whether it’s because you’re doing strenuous activities such as working out or the temperature of the environment is rising, then you begin to sweat.
This is your body’s way of cooling down, but not only when the sweat just drips off your body. For you to be able to cool down, the sweat must evaporate right off of your skin, turning into a gas, which gives you the cooling effect.
Interesting, isn’t it? In this article, you will learn all about sweat, the benefits and the answer to the question, why do we sweat?
As previously stated, when you sweat and the sweat evaporates into the air, your body is able to cool down by removing excess heat. The whole process of sweating can actually be explained through a physic principle. Let’s elaborate.
Water can only by convert into a gas when a specific amount if heat (called the heat of vaporization) is applied to it. The energy of the heat speeds up the water molecules so that they can break-out from the liquid and go into the air.
Of course, not all of your sweat evaporates off your body. In fact, most of it either runs or drips off your skin or before it can even evaporate, you’ve already wiped it off with a towel.
Also, your sweat doesn’t totally eliminate all the heat energy your body produces. Some if it is either lost through the respiratory surfaces of your own lungs or radiated straight into the air from the surface of your skin.
The main element which affects the evaporation rate is the humidity of the air in your environment. When the air around you is humid, it means that water vapor is already present, probably abundantly, and so the air cannot take any more water molecules. This is why your sweat won’t evaporate and cool you down as well as if the air around you is dry.
Not all components of your sweat evaporate into the air, only the water. So when the water is gone, the salts – made up of potassium, sodium, and chloride are left behind on the surface of your skin, which is why it tastes salty when you’re sweaty. When you are sweating a lot, you have to remember to hydrate a lot too because when too many amounts of water and salt are lost from your body, it can lead to detrimental effects on your health.
Now that you have a better idea of sweat, let’s look into the different benefits of this commonly misunderstood body product.
Before we answer your question of why do we sweat, let’s take a look at the different benefits of sweating. While a lot of people are put off by the whole concept of sweat and sweating, it actually has a lot of benefits related to your health and even beauty. Those benefits include:
To remain healthy and comfortable, your body would have to maintain a certain temperature and once your body temperature starts to rise, your body may be at risk for overheating if you don’t cool down.
Sweating is one of the ways your body cools itself down. This is one of the main benefits of sweat since when your brain feels that your body is beginning to heat up, and then it starts to stimulate your sweat glands to produce sweat.
Not only has your health benefited from detoxification, but your beauty and vitality as well. Sweat helps you eject unwanted toxins from your body. This boosts your immune functions and it also helps you avoid getting diseases which are related to overload of toxins.
Some bacteria and viruses are unable to survive in temperatures over 98.6˚F. Sweating helps in eliminating these viruses and bacteria even if you didn’t know that they had been present in your body!
Since the sweat which is produced by your body is released through the pores of your skin, it also cleanses your pores, which in turn, effectively removes any acne and blackheads.
These benefits are all good for your health and your beauty so don’t be too bothered when you start to sweat – it’s actually a good thing! Now that you know the benefits, let’s move on to answering the main question of this article in the next section.
Did you know that an average person has around 2-4 million sweat glands on the body. These sweat glands can be classified into two types – apocrine and eccrine. These glands are responsible for producting sweat when out body heats up.
The apocrine glands are located in your underarm and groin. These glands can be stimulated by the body’s temperature as well as feelings of anxiety and stress or hormones which fluctuate. These glands also produce bacteria which actually breaks down the sweat, which in turn causes body odor to occur.
The eccrine glands, on the other hand, are found all over the body, which is why w have thousands of them. They are responsible for adjusting the body’s overall temperature. When your body temperature increases, a signal is sent to your nervous system to start stimulating the eccrine glands to produce and release sweat.
So the simplest answer to the question of why do we sweat is so that our body doesn’t overheat and it would have an outlet or some way to cool down despite environmental conditions. So the next time you sweat – don’t sweat it! It’s your body’s way of regulating your temperature, which is actually beneficial to you.
So the best thing you can do is hydrate and put on some deodorant especially when you know you will be doing any particularly strenuous activities or the environment you’ll be staying in is hot or humid.
Odor-Eaters are known for being one of the most reputed brands – their name says it all.
It’s the worst. This is because you will always feel ashamed to remove your shoes in the presence of other people – I know I did. Foot Odor is one of the toughest personal problems to tackle. You might have already tried multiple other options and succeeded at failing.
The stigma around body odor and in particular foot odor is usually because such odor is associated with a lack of proper personal hygiene. In fact, a lot of people will think you are a dirty person, even though you might actually be the cleanest of them all. What our bodies excrete cant necessarily be controlled and how the odor causing bacteria will treat what our bodies put out.
Essentially when it comes to battling foot or body odor, it comes down to the product that you choose, and how religiously you are willing to use it to your advantage.
The expenses involved in dealing with foot odor can hurt you financially. Think about it. There are a lot of people who have visited so many doctors about smelly feet, used so many pharmaceutical products and most of the time you end up where you started(or worse). Some doctors even tell you the smell is genetic, so there is not much you can do about it(which is BS).
Some people have tried different home remedies to no avail. At some point, you have to stop trying everything that is recommended to you by people you come across because some of these products eventually take a toll on your body and have dire side effects.
With Odor-Eaters, you are looking at prolonged protection all through the day. Once you have sprayed the product on your feet, you can go about your day without worrying about smelly feet. The Odor-Eaters Foot Powder gives you the peace of mind that most people lack and the confidence in knowing your feet smell good, and you will no longer have an oops moment.
It feels so good feeling refreshed and relaxed. If applied correctly, you should feel good for a very long time. This is one of the main benefits of using this product. The discomfort that comes from having smelly feet will be a thing of the past.
The ingredients used in the manufacture of this product are non-toxic. You do not have anything to worry about or dire ramifications of using the product. As a rule of thumb, though, make sure that you only apply it on clean and dried feet. Do that and it will destroy the bad odor almost instantly.
Ideally, Odor-Eaters Foot powder is a lifesaver for someone who has struggled with smelly feet for a long time. It is infused with the right active ingredients to help you overcome the smelly feet problem.
Foot powder succeeds in reducing the bad odor because they shrink the pores in your legs and feet. By shrinking the pores, they are able to reduce the sweating in your legs that eventually reduces smelling.
The powder also kills the bacteria present in your legs. This is the bacteria that bring about the bad smell. With them gone, it is possible to kill the odor completely. Finally, the powder absorbs any hint of sweat. By absorbing sweat, it is easier to keep your feet dry, and eventually keep the bad smell away.
How do they work? Essentially, one of the active ingredients in foot powder used in fighting bad odor is zinc oxide. This is the same ingredient that you will find in baby powder, rash creams and even shampoos used in fighting dandruff.
As long as you want a solution to your smelly feet problem, this is exactly what you’ve been looking for.
To get the best results, make sure that when applying the powder, you apply the product generously especially to the spaces between your toes. This is where most of the damage happens. Also make sure that you are putting on shoes that fit properly and are properly ventilated, and change the pair of socks you are wearing at least once each day.
These two products are all produced by the same company/brand, so there should not be much of a difference in the way they serve their purpose. Even in terms of the pricing, there is not much of a distinction between the two. They are fairly available for the same price.
One other thing that they all share in common is the fact that they take good care of your feet. The last thing you will have to worry about in a very long time is smelly feet. If you use these products on a regular basis as indicated, there is no doubt you will notice the difference over time.
You can use it on your feet or spray the powder inside your shoes. If you do this, you are looking at the prospect of eliminating bad odor almost instantly. This provides a sense of relief and you can go about your business with confidence that you will no longer be the source of discomfort among your friends or when you are in the presence of those you love.
The thing about foot odor, or body odor, in general, is that a lot of people suffer in silence. In fact, it is not just that, but those around you; friends, family members, workmates and other associates, who suffer even more. The worst of it is ones who bear the brunt of it all are your lovers. With the Odor-Eaters Foot Powder, however, you can put all your fears at ease.
SweatBlock stands out from the myriad of other antiperspirants and is perfect for sufferers of excessive sweating and hyperhidrosis. It is dermatologist approved, effective and comes in hygienic individual sheets. SweatBlock is clinical strength and uses safe, FDA approved chemicals. Best of all one application lasts as long as 7 entire days. Aside from painful and sometimes harmful prescribed treatments, there is nothing else out there that offers this kind of potency. So is SweatBlock right for you? Read on to learn know more.
Some of us sweat more than others. Which is why Sweat block designed their formula for suffers of hyperhidrosis. They’ve helped thousands of people world wide take control back from the grip of excessive sweating and stands strong amongst the most beloved antiperspirants.
Bad hygiene is often the ouroboros of excessive sweating. Sweat usually leads to body odor. This is caused by microorganisims that live on your body and feed of your sweat secretions(gross right?). This leads to us feeling embarrassed and nervous around others which makes us sweat even more- making us sweat even more – which…you get it. Often times we feel the need to apply more deodorant to cover this up, unaware of how we’re transferring bacteria onto our roll on. This then caused us to contaminate ourselves each application.
SweatBlock prevents this hygiene cycle by coming in towelettes, pre-soaked in a clinical strength formula. Each of these towelettes is disposable and the solution will last for 7 days, even for hyperhidrosis suffers. This is fairly unique for antiperspirants and has many advantages. A pack can be used and shared safely without hygiene concerns or separated and put in your emergency car sweat kit. Best of all, there are 8 per pack, meaning that a single pack can last up to 8 weeks.
SweatBlock is alcohol free. Alcohol is present in a lot of antiperspirants to help absorption, but this also makes your skin dry out as the alcohol evaporates. This increases the burning feeling of clinical strength
SweatBlock does things a little differently. The main, active ingredient in SweatBlock is Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate, at 14%. This concentration is FDA approved, guaranteeing you of dry and fresh-smelling underarms, while being gentle on you skin. While there will be some initial irritation, this is perfectly normal, and you’ll notice it’s significantly less that some other clinical strength antiperspirants. This leaves your skin feeling soft and supple instead of being dry and cracked(which is horrible).
The average duration of Sweatblock’s efficacy is 6.3 Days. It has been reported as lasting up to 10 days on some athletes however. This puts an end to night sweats(which I had every night), and bosts self confidence entering even the most humid of conditions.
SweatBlock comes in a pack of 8 as well, meaning you can get as many 80 sweat free days. Being long lasting, you don’t have to worry amount constant reapplication either.
Due to all of this, it ultimately makes SweatBlock one of the most cost-efficient deodorants out in the market.
Several Dermatologists recommend SweatBlock antiperspirant to their patients. The FDA also approves of its formula, thus you can be assured that the product is as safe as safe could ever possibly be. SweatBlock has undergone various clinical trials, as well as formula modifications before it was released in the market, giving it plenty of facts to back this.
SweatBlock is also made proudly in the USA, so no shortcuts are taken to product this quality product.
Being clinical strength. SweatBlock is great for those with excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis. It is designed with the heaviest of sweaters in mind. SweatBlock prides itself on this fact and have stoppes at nothing to purport this by constantly taking customer feedback and reviews. With over 4000 reviews on Amazon, you can rest assured you’re getting a tried and tested product that has helped thousands conquer their sweating woes.
SweatBlock contains no alcohol.
Alcohol is one of the substances popular for its antibacterial properties. One of its disadvantages, however, is its drying side-effect. As you apply alocholic antiperspirants to your skin, they cut through your skins Sebum(natural moisturizer. The alcohol then evaporates and takes iwht it the water that was previously held in your skin by the sebum. Eventually, this causes much drying of your skin, leaving it prone to infection caused by other bacteria. Also, this could lead to irritation characterized by cracking, itching and redness.
Instead, Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate is utilized by SweatBlock. It serves as the active ingredient is a lot milder than would pure Aluminum Chloride. It still works in a similar way. Instead of the alcohol removing your protective layer to insert the Aluminum Chloride the Hexahydrate blends with your natural Sebum, creatign a doubly protective layer.
With less-sweaty underarms comes greater confidence! One of the best things with taking care of your body is it allows you to look and smell better in front of others. I myself suffered years of embarassment with sweaty back, pits and nightsweats. SweatBlock is my go to for my back(I use different products for different body parts) and I would never go back to anything else – pun intended.
Sweat Block is also stain free, so it gives you more freedom to wear whatever you want to wear. No more nasty yellow pit patches any more.
This is the only major disadvantage associated to making use of SweatBlock. There have been reports of an uncomfortable, tingling sensation that was felt upon the first application. With time however, this sensation would eventually disappear. This is true for most every clinical strength antiperspirant and is a darn heck of a lot better than looking like you just got done with your daily swimming competition.
SweatBlock is a tough product to beat. It works well on a lot of body parts, though I would advise against application to face and genitalia. I’ve tried it on my feet, pits, chest and back and it worked great for all of them. My feet were left a little itchy at first but it soon faded. Personally I use this for my back only and use other products for different body parts. This is both for hygiene(I’m a little bit of a clean freak) and efficacy.
The first alternative I can recommend is Certain Dri. It’s the #1 product recommended by most doctors. Its comes in a nice roll-on applicator. It’s only really suited to pits though, so that’s a bit of a downside if you sweat a lot in other places.ZeroSweat claims to be more potent than SweatBlock, which I found to be true, but it was a little more irritating on my skin, despite being determatologist approved. ZeroSweat comes with a money-back guarantee though, so you can’t really argue with that logic. Odaban is what I use for my face and scalp. Its safe and easy to evenly apply as it comes in a pump spray bottle. No harsh propellants – which is fantastic, especially for those with sensitive skin.
If you’re after another wipe style product, Sweat Shield Ultra Antiperspirant Wipes are another option and are quite cost effective but not quite as potent, though much easier on your skin as they contain aloe extracts and Vitamin E.
If you’re on the lookout of an antiperspirant you can make use of throughout your body, and not just on your underarms, then one of the best options for you to use is SweatBlock Antiperspirant.
Amongst Wipes, SweatBlock is the strongest and most well formulated. I’d avoid use on head and geneatalia but other than that it works wonders.
The importance of hygiene just can’t be over-emphasized. SweatBlock is a cut above the rest with their long lasting single use wipes.
SweatBlock’s potent FDA approved formula is designed with hyperhidrosis in mind and puts an end to excessive sweating for up to 10 days with a a single application.
It’s gentle on skin and contains no alcohol, is made in the USA and has helps thousands conquer excessive sweating.
